Yeah, I read that findings.pdf. I don’t really know what you wish to imply by it though. The file said nothing about GW, who seems to be your main target. From the file, it is also not possible to distinguish between an underfunded intelligence community and conspiracy (which I get the feeling you are advocating). It also mentioned quite a few times that the problems stemmed from the late 90’s, which would implicate Clinton more than Bush. So instead of just posting a link, maybe you could articulate your point a little more clearly so that you can be understood a little better.
I’m working on that other file you posted; it’s lengthy. But after reading the first few paragraphs, I’m already left wondering what exactly your thoughts are on this fiasco. I’m guessing this is again a conspiracy theory type thing. I’m not trying to deny the idea that files were stolen (which seems quite true via these documents). What I am asking is, files were stolen, so what? What is your point? Is it that Bush is orchestrating an extremely crafty plan to exercise complete power? Or is it just that republicans are immoral? Do you not think that the democrats would ever pull such a stunt?
Anyhow, give some commentary on your links. Since most of your links are just factual government documents, I am left wondering what exactly your purpose in posting them is. So include some of your own commentary with the links and others will have an easier time responding.

I never said anything about Bush being my target. They all are. Ashcroft & Rove & Cheney & Rice, etc …. The event could have been prevented. The document says so. Not my ‘conspiracy theories’ - so, in turn .. why is there another intelligence committee now? That Bush chose personally? That he pondered over for a bit over a week before even agreeing to set up. Now the Administration won’t testify under oath, and Bush has stated he will only meet with 2 members for one hour … not the whole panel. Why? He said on Meet the Press “I don’t testify.”
5- About the files thing. I don’t know too much about it, but it’s been exposed about six months now. I don’t know what they took, how they got it, (i read laptops were stolen?) .. but it is not a conspiracy theory either. Or else this type of investigation and subpoena of possible evidence would even be conducted. Agree?
6- I usually do not post conspiracy theories. I try and tell people things that ARENT reported, but that I can back up if asked. But people only tend to read the main stuff. They don’t dive deeper. My brain just isn’t satisfied in seeing a headline and moving on. I like to do my homework. The more I do, the more I don’t like what I see. Hey, I voted for Nader in 2000. I’ve never considered myself a liberal or a conservative. But I’ll do whatever it takes to get this lying cabinet out of the White House. We’ve got too much life ahead of us. I don’t want it in their hands.

I complement you on trying to do your homework. But when you step outside of the mainstream, you have to be more cautious about what you read. You seem to have a tendency to post documents (like that 40 point bulletin) that don’t make a lot of sense. You also seem to have a tendency to just try and overwhelm your opponents by burying them in paperwork. Meanwhile, you don’t try and talk about many of your points, you switch topics very quickly. I think I can speak for all of the folks that post on this site by saying everyone is interested in discussing interesting points. But let’s discuss them, instead of just saying, “See! See! Look over here! Now over there.”
As far as the findings.pdf, none of your listed targets were mentioned in that file. None. And as I mentioned last time, there were many dates listed that indicated problems went back to the late 90’s when Clinton was in power. The paper doesn’t talk about how the commitee was chosen, or what Bush did. So all of your points are secondary to that document. So I don’t see how that paper helps you out much.
As far as your 40 point bulletin, many of those facts are just irrelevant. For exmple, if the Pope made some rule about something, it doesn’t mean it is an absolute rule. The idea of a rule of law is that it can be enforced in some manner. What is the pope going to do to me if I break one of his rules? Nothing. Other points on there, like the fact that none of us own land, are irrelevant. This is well known. What you own is the use of the land. Even this is only yours so long as you can prevent someone else from taking it from you.
Slow down a bit and think your points over. There is no need to post forty pages of documents in a single day.

Oh hey I just said they were interesting. ;) I never said they were fact.
I do agree sometimes I don’t come across the right way, but most of the things I DO read are lengthy, often government documents. I can’t be partisan with a .gov file. These files are hard for me to shrink down in a summary.

I just want answers. I’ve been messing around with unanswered questions for over two years now. There is such a complex wealth of information out there, I don’t even know how I could ever find out everything.
As I write this, 8-10 rockets just were fired into the coalition green zone of Baghdad. Day before the interim signing.

Do you consider yourself fully non-partisan? In your saying, “The Administration” do you mean the whole government in general? Or just the Bush government? Because as I’ve said a few times now, clearly Clinton had a hand in what turned out to be a intelligence disaster too. Do you want to catch him as well? Why the vendetta?
If you are simultaneously looking for answers as well as posting things that you yourself don’t believe to be factual, then do you understand that you misrepresent yourself? I mean, I knowingly misrepresent myself sometimes too, but when I do it is often because I’m looking for opinions, not the truth.

I mean anyone who knew. The Adminstration in general. Our governmental leaders. They’re all guilty. But I hold the current Administration more accountable because they had NUMEROUS warnings and chose to ignore them.

we all want to get to the bottom of what happened and WHY it happened. the 9/11 attacks, and the Iraq intel fiasco. to me though, it sounds like we have a reoccurring theme here though:bad intel led to two regrettable events in modern US history. one, an attack on civilians on US soil, the other, the invasion of a sovereign nation based on false pretenses.
once again though, bush is either the idiot democrats paint him as, or a maniacal genius, who either planned or ‘let’ 9/11 take place, and forged/hid/created documents regarding iraq’s WMD capability.
to me, it’s somewhere right in the middle. bad intel let 9/11 happen right under our noses, and led bush, blair, et al. to believe iraq still had biological weapons, and a nuke program in one stage or another.
should we have made 1000% sure? of course. but all signs pointed to yes - we had informants in Iraq telling CIA operatives they had the weapons. we had sat. photos that we were positve were WMD’s. either they never existed, or they have since been hidden. i think either scenario is equally likely. once again, to blame bush and his administration on ‘lying’ is to have one man shoulder the blame for what i would consider a blunder by most of the free world, and their intelligence agencies.
i’m sure that over time more details will emerge, as they are now. hopefully the full truth, or enough for us to decipher, will come to the forefront, giving us all a clearer picture as to what exactly happened in sept. 01 and in Iraq as well.
