Summer!

I’ve made quite a few of these “I’m glad that it’s $season” posts over the years, and I feel it’s time to make another. This year, I have the great fortune of being extremely close to two swimming pools, having a day off in the middle of the week, and having a girlfriend who happens to have the summer off. This all adds up to one thing - I’ll be swimming a lot this year, and really taking advantage of this while I can. I doubt I’d be quite as excited if there weren’t a swimming pool 20 feet away from my bedroom as it’s been roughly 700 degrees every day for the past week.
Another thing that gets me quite excited is the fact that I’m going to the Dominican Republic with Michelle tomorrow, and I’ll be there for a week. We’re staying at a resort in Punta Cana, which is on the southeastern tip of the island at an all-inclusive resort, and should have an absolute blast despite my complete inability to communicate with the locals. I will, however, drink about 30-50 fruity drinks and be a complete drunken slob all week. Don’t tell Michelle.
You can expect tons of photos and videos when we get back, along with a possible case of Malaria / food poisoning. Wish me luck!
