Busy, Busy, Busy… i’ve been really busy lately, with a new quarter starting up, working this weekend, and helping what seems to be everyone i know with computer problems. BUT, the good thing about the computer help thing is… i’m making a lot of money doing it. since last week, i’ve made around 200 bucks doing ‘tech support’ for neighbors and other people. a little extra money in my pocket never hurt.

i officially submitted my application to live in Georgian Hills Apartments in the fall. it’s only going to be around 250 a person to live there. talk about cheap!

i have to get a hold of a floorplan and figure out what i can bring with me, and what i need to get rid of/store somewhere. between amber and i, it’s going to be very … interesting… to see if we can cram all of our crap into one room and make it livable. i think we’ll both end up getting rid of a bunch of crap when it’s all said and done.

i got a gamecube over the weekend off eBay for arond $100 bucks. i’ve been hooked on the new zelda game, it’s really nice. apparently, the graphics use a type of animation called ‘cell shading’ that make it look like you’re basically in a cartoon the whole time.

vivid colors, great animation, and facial expressions. while having nothing to do with the technical side of things, the storyline is good, as can be expected from a zelda game. what else ah yes, the NFL draft is this weekend.

the bucs don’t have a pick until the 2nd round, but honestly this draft doesn’t have the top players that other drafts have in the past, so it’s not THAT big of a deal. i think this year the bucs will just move to maybe get a ‘qb of the future’, and basically draft for depth. the bucs have no immediate needs, so they can just go by the best player available approach, instead of drafting a guy who has to save your franchise right from the get-go. anywho, i have tomorrow off from work, so all i have to do is go to class in the A.M. i’m going to take it nice and easy and do some yardwork and be lazy after that.
