this blog entry convinced to give eMusic a try. for only 14 bucks a month (or 9.99 a month if you commit to a year), unlimited downloads, 192 VBR files encoded in LAME, you can’t go wrong. for the more mainstream stuff, i’ll still use the iTunes music store, but eMusic has a lot more obscure stuff i can’t find on iTunes music store (yet). i’ll report back once i have used it for a week or so. while we’re on the subject, here’s some of my most listened albums/songs of the week: Ataris – So Long, Astoria The Used – The Used Black Eyed Peas – Elephunk Radiohead – Hail to the Thief Face to Face – Face to Face i’ll be adding a section to the site soon that has my 5 most recent played songs in iTunes, as well as a “albums of the week” type thing – for the one of two of you out there who actually care about such things.

it’s really just an excuse for me to get a better understanding of PHP.
