New Thursday Album

I downloaded the new Thursday album, “War All the Time”, today from the iTunes Music Store. So far, so very good. Thursday is a great blend of emo, rock, pop-punk, and hardcore.

they’re seriously some of the best songwriters around – all of their songs have me screaming the choruses in no time – and that’s all i can ask for. the energy they have in their latest release is light years beyond their last album, “Full Collapse”… and that’s saying a lot. So far, my favorites are: Signals Over the Air – a slower, catchier deviation from their normal sound, but with a hard hitting chorus.

For the Workforce, Drowning – this one is exactly how i remember Thursday from a single that came between Full Collapse and War All the Time. Go check out a song called ‘Jet Black New Year’ and you’ll see what i’m talking about. in any event, this CD so far has blown me away.

i was just getting on a Get Up Kids kick, but that’ll have to wait, as this album has my full attention right now. too bad i missed them live a few days ago, but i was hanging out with friends and totally forgot about it. some fan i am, eh

Ok, now what?
