The Essential Clash

i’m usually not the biggest fans of “best of” type albums – because some of the best songs by a band typically get left off. with that said, i got one of the greatest “best of” albums ever (at least in this guy’s opinion) today. The Essential Clash is an amazing 2 disc compilation from one of the greatest punk bands of all time (again, at least in this guy’s opinion). track listing and more below… can a 40 song double CD capture a band’s entire music career doubtful.

but these 40 songs are a pretty damn good sampling, and has every song i would put on a “best of” cd, and a couple others i would have forgotten. if you’re a fan of the clash, get this album – i got it for 12.99 used off of amazon. not bad for a double CD.
