okay, so i’m in florida, sitting in a panera, checking email, getting info for shipping some ebay items, and being generally toasty. we’ve been without power here since we got to FL, and we shouldn’t have it until sat. at the earliest.

it kinda sucks, as it’s hot as balls here in Orlando. however, we’re here, and that’s a good thing. school starts up soon, and i’m really looking forward to it. also, i’m just glad to have the move behind me. it seems as my status has been up in the air for so long, and the move kept getting delayed and delayed … it’s nice to just finally be DONE with it. we went to Daytona beach today, just to get out of the nasty hot apartments, and it was super freaking nice.

i think i’m gonna make a trip down to Coccoa beach tomorrow – again, to avoid the hot ass weather. the hurricane really tore this whole area up. most places are without power still, gas stations are without gas, nobody has ice for sale … it’s nuts. additionally, most businesses have a lot of external damage, and are lacking in supplies.

for the most part, things are fine though. i’m just ready for the damn power to be on, so i can sit in A/C wonderfulness, eat some cooked food, and maybe watch the tube. i’ll update with some pictures and more ramblings whenever we get power!
