Frances is looking like it’s going to hit central FL, as per the latest storm track. by the middle of this weekend, the central FL area is gonna get it good. looks like the eye of the storm is, at this early point, scheduled to cross over Orlando sometime sunday.
hopefully, when i get back, i’ll at least have power and no physical damage to my place. i’ll take the appropriate precautions, but i’m hoping i won’t have to deal with any of that when we get back. so, Full Sail cancelled classes on friday, so i’ll be heading up to Atlanta to get out of the way of the storm sometime either thursday night or friday morning.
most every public school has cancelled school starting friday, and i know of some people closer to the coast that are being mandatorily evacuated. i have a bad feeling this storm is going to screw things up here … again. honestly, i know my situation is fairly trivial to those who will inevitably lose their homes, pets, and maybe loved ones.
however, i’m not in the mood for my school schedule to get re-arranged, my power to be knocked out again, and our apartments to get potentially damaged. i was planning on going home this weekend anyway this weekend, but i was just going to ride home with my bro. now, i have to drive my car back also.
kind of a waste of gas, but i have to get my coche out of the storm. anyways, i guess all i can do is hope for the best for everyone on the coast, who are really going to have a handful. i know my dad has a good friend that lives near cocoa beach, so i hope he’s okay.
and, of course, all those in orlandoland as well. blah.
