With Tiger’s (Mac OS 10.4) rapidly approaching (some rumors have it as early as next month, others say Juneish), some really neat details are starting to come out of Cupertino. One thing I came across today was integration of CoreImage (Apple’s new technology that essentially makes video cards do even more of the dirty work of windowing, and in turn will help the OS run that much faster as CPU cycles can now be fully dedicated to ‘processing’, rather than drawing). Anyhow, Safari’s RSS features have been integrated with a CoreImage/QT7 screensaver to give us this nice little preview of what kind of neat stuff we’ll see in el Tigre: Engadget RSS feed in Tiger Here is the link to the article.
Ok, now what?
