February 3rd, 2008 This is normally something I’d post in my tumblelog that I talk about so much nowadays, but this news is just too big to pass up posting here. Rumor has it that there is an Arrested Development movie in the works. Granted, this is all pending a lot of dealmaking and casting work, but I can’t see any of the main cast members turning this down.

From the interviews I’ve read and seen, the cast was absolutely crazy about the show, the script, the writers, and would probably jump at the opportunity to work with them again (not to mention make a ton of money off of fanboys like myself who would see the film numerous times in the theater and buy it when it comes out on DVD). It appears the major thing holding this project back is the writer’s strike – and who knows how much longer that will last. In any event, any news that something like this is even being talked about is good news to me. So yeah, fingers crossed. Welcome!
