! well, with the need for a laptop at school waning, i decided it was a good time to trade up to a better machine, and get some value for my PowerBook while i still could. long story made short, i met a guy who wanted a powerbook, and was willing to trade a nice powermac for it. so that’s the story on that.

anyways, i got a 1ghz PowerMac, and have since bought another 512mb of RAM and a superdrive for it, so i have a gig of ram, and a DVD burner. additionally, i bought a 20″ Apple Cinema Display last week, so i’m rocking what i consider a very nice machine. i was planning on buying a g5 this summer, but now i’ll wait a while before i take that plunge.

this baby flies. i thought my powerbook was fast, but it’s seriously half the speed of this machine. eat my dust!
