Florida! Again! well, i’m back.

i’m sure you all missed me. Pensacola is a very, VERY nice beach. i had a great time just relaxing for a week, away from work and whatnot. i tend to get stressed out when i have to work a TON and don’t get time to just be lazy – that’s just the type of person i am. so, i kind of needed a break.

anyways, we headed down last sunday, and after a good 6 hours of the road, we were in Pensacola. for those of you who don’t know where that is, it’s in the very western tip of the top of FL. this means that, while it’s a very nice, secluded beach, there were a lot of rednecks at this particular location. no matter though, as they weren’t really annoying me, or trying to get me to go cross burning with them after dinner.

the water was warm, and we didn’t see a cloud in the sky until thursday. the weather was absolutely perfect – pretty hot, and windy enough where you didn’t bake in the sun. jason and i spent most of our time split between 4 activities – watching TV, swimming, eating, or just messing around on the beach.

i watched more TV in the mornings and at night last week than most likely the entire last 7 months combined. it was kind of nice. also, as it turned out, both of my parent’s birthdays fell during the trip, so we spent 2 of the evenings celebrating that.

really, it was one of those trips where i did a whole lot of nothing, and enjoyed the hell out of every second of it. i mean, that’s what vacations are for … right if i want to be all active, i would go snowboarding, or go running. the beach is for laying around and being a bum, in my opinion. here are some pictures from the trip.
