! This morning, before I headed off to class, I plugged in my 40gb iPod into the speakers in my room and pressed play (this was 8: 20am or so). Upon arriving back from class at noon, I decided to eat lunch and generally lounge around the apartment. Finally, I made my way back into my bedroom, and noticed that my iPod was still playing.
Already a good 5 hours into continuous playback, I thought to myself, “let’s see how long this sucker can go.” The advertised battery life on these new models is 12 hours (with no EQ, sound check, backlight, etc.) To my surprise, I’m sitting here at 9: 45pm, and the iPod JUST died. 13.5 hours straight – that is simply amazing. I just wanted to post this as a testament to those who say the iPod’s battery life is sub-par. I love this little guy.
