Michael Has Left the Building

January 4th, 2010 Note: I wrote this about 6 months ago now, and apparently forgot to actually publish it. Oops! It’s been a long time since I really thought about how much Michael Jackson’s music meant to me when I was younger. Around the time that Dangerous came out, I was about to head into […]

Top Albums of All Time

December 17th, 2008 I was recently thinking about which albums would rank as my favorite albums of all time (quite an honor! ), and with the exception of two or three, I’d say my top ten was set in stone around the time I was 14 or 15 years old: Smashing Pumpkins – Siamese Dream […]

Smashing Pumpkins

I think the main reason I still listen to the Smash ing Pump kins is just because I feel like I have always been lis ten ing to them, so why give it up now I’ve probably been lis ten ing to them since I was in the 5th or 6th grade. At this point, almost every song reminds me of some part of grow ing up. When ever any of their 200 or so songs come on, I can vividly picture myself at some point of my life — middle or high school, Southern Poly, Athens, Florida, Atlanta, wherever. I definitely still like their music, but I think it’s more a nostalgia thing.

Squareone Redesign

It was met with a minimal amount of controversy, with a few folks saying that the school was a joke, that Full Sail University doesn’t provide the necessary tools for success, and they are now in huge amounts […]

Development Un Arrested

February 3rd, 2008 This is normally something I’d post in my tumblelog that I talk about so much nowadays, but this news is just too big to pass up posting here. Rumor has it that there is an Arrested Development movie in the works. Granted, this is all pending a lot of dealmaking and casting […]

Entanglement

December 30th, 2007 Between Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, Digg, Newsvine, Reddit, Pownce, Virb, Last.fm, Flickr, Tumblr, del. icio.us, a plethora of RSS feeds, email, IM … you get the picture … there’s a lot of social networking to be done! So much, in fact, that it becomes a chore just to keep up. I wanted to […]

Convergence.

Did you guys hear? Apple came out with a phone! A few weeks ago, I said I wouldn’t be getting an iPhone on the day it came out because I wanted to have some questions about the UI, data speeds, and a few other nagging issues sorted out before I took the plunge. It took me a […]
